For nearly a decade, Harbor Marineworks has integrated the use of a specialized water filtration system that removes all toxins, metals and oils from all wash down and storm water.  After treatment all waste water is deposited into the sewer system, insuring that it never reaches the ocean or impacts the environment.  All sanding dust and job related byproducts are contained by tenting, then collected for pick up by a certified hazardous waste management facility where it gets recycled.

We regulate all spraying to eliminate airborne particulates, and use only environmentally friendly products.  Please ask about the application of ECONEA based antifouling and other environmentally friendly marine products.  We quite commonly hear “this is the cleanest boatyard I’ve ever been in” from the saltiest of them all.

Harbor Marineworks provides twenty four hour, year round emergency haul out service.  If your vessel is in trouble and requires this service you need to contact the Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol at 805 564 5530 for immediate assistance.  They will contact our on-call Travelift operator and help you facilitate service.
We have carefully cultivated working relationships with all major marine insurance carriers and their surveyor representatives.  In the unfortunate circumstance that an insurance claim becomes necessary, our office staff and yard personnel have the ability to work closely with your carrier to insure a smooth coverage approval process and the best outcome for your repair.  These situations are never pleasant for the boat owner, and we have the hand-holding capability to see the process through and achieve the best results for you.
